Participant Access - Product Submittal
Manufacturers shall apply for initial certification, annual re-certification and Class I and Class II changes of product models by completing an SEI Certification Submittal Form and a Materials and Components Description Checklist for each product model, variant or accessory to be tested.
The SEI Certification Submittal Form and Components and Materials Description Checklist shall be signed by the authorized manufacturer representative within the participating company having authority to authorize expenditures for testing.
The SEI Certification Program is designed for the certification of finished product models, except that, in certain specific instances, component models may be certified. In order to avoid confusion, the SEI certification mark used on component models shall be different from the SEI certification mark used on product models.
The SEI Certification Program Manual contains detailed information regarding the certification process and stipulations. To apply for initial certification of a new product, annual certification, or Class I/Class II changes, complete the appropriate forms. Before completing and submitting the forms, you are encouraged to review the documentation and latest revisions in the CPM to ensure compliance. Failure to follow instructions or to properly complete the forms will delay processing. An SEI representative will contact you once we have received the forms via fax or regular mail.
